Design Statement:
The project consists of developing the design concept of Emirates NBD typical retail branch. For this purpose, an eventful branch, located in the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, was selected to serve as a prototype. The branch features modular work-cells carefully designed to accommodate specific operations. The general mood is minimal, cheerful and dynamic keeping an open circulation and easy access to branch visitors. The finishing materials are selected from sustainable recourses casting an authentic modern look to the branch interior. The prototype Emirates NBD retail branch is the first of its kind in the GCC and the second bank worldwide to successfully achieve the Platinum LEED certification.
